Yes, so it's early, but I just couldn't wait to get these plants into the ground. It's been a lot of work building these new gardens and now it's time to GARDEN!!
The rhubarb are coming in strong! These are some of the six that I put in last fall. Several people shared rhubarb root with me, which I then divided, planted and shared with others what I could not use. I see pie and jam in my future!
Today I started work in the main garden. I tackled the crop circle yesterday (post coming soon!). This work involved uncovering the garden, which has been tarped over all winter.
Picked a Golden Hybrid Zucchini tonight … it was seven inches in length and very firm. Wiped it off over my shorts and had the thing eaten before I could make it out of the garden. I do SOOO love this stuff.
